What is the difference between direct dye sublimation and re-transfer technology?
These two technology types differs by:
- technology: with the standard dye sublimation technology the pigment is directly impressed on the card surface and so creates the image; with the re-transfer technology the pigment is before impressed on a special film and then re-transfered on the card surface
- quality: the re-transfer print is superior in quality of colours and details
